First it was the music programs, and now the magazines.
It was already a really sad moment when long-running and pioneer Japanese music programs Pop Jam, Utaban, and Hey! Hey! Hey! have been put to an end. It was like a part of my fangirl life had been closed, as well. Now shifting to the print media, according to Natalie, music magazines What’s In? and PATi-PATi will end their more than 20-year run, too.
It saddens me because What’s In?, especially, has been the magazine that I’ve been primarily following. Their interviews with L’Arc~en~Ciel had always been insightful.
But as reality exemplies, print media sales are dwindling due to the shift to online media.
Meanwhile, I better grab a copy of What’s In?’s latest, April 2013 issue because of my rainbow boys!
