[J-Pop] Ranking of “BEST Christmas songs” by Recochoku users

The November 12th edition of Recochoku announced the results of a poll for ”BEST Christmas song ranking” voted on by its users.

Below are the results:

1. All I want for Christmas is you – Mariah Carey (1994)

2. LAST CHRISTMAS – EXILE (2008)

3. Itsuka no Merry Christmas – B’z (1992)
4. Merikuri – BoA (2004)
5. Last Christmas – Wham! (1984)

6. Christmas Eve – Yamashita Tatsuro (1983)

7. Merry Christmas – BUMP OF CHICKEN (2009)
8. Hurry Xmas – L’Arc～en～Ciel (2007)

9. Fuyu no Aru hi no Uta – GReeeeN (2008)

10. WISH – Arashi (2005)

My favorite artists are there!!! BoA and L’Arc~en~Ciel! ❤ I’m very happy. Those songs are classics, especially Meri Kuri ❤

I also love EXILE’s version of Last Christmas. 🙂  But what surprised me was that B’z didn’t get the top spot this year when Itsuka no Merry Christmas ALWAYS tops the Christmas polls every year. XD But it doesn’t matter, it’s still one of the best Christmas songs in Japan! 🙂

  1. Nice, parang national anthem yata sa Japan ang Meri Kuri ah. medyo luma na yun pero gusto pa rin nila. Yung last Christmas EXILE version is JP! haha. i think mas ok yung rendition ni BoA. although EXILE version isn’t bad naman.
